We Built juangames to Be Enjoyed, Not Abused

There's a certain kind of player that every online casino platform hopes to attract — not the one who plays recklessly, but the one who games with intention. Someone who sits down for an hour of JILI slots on a Friday evening, keeps track of what they've spent, and walks away feeling entertained. That's the juangames experience we built the platform to deliver.

"We don't want your rent money. We don't want your emergency fund. juangames is entertainment — and we built the tools to keep it that way."

Here in the Philippines, gambling is part of the culture — from the lotto stalls in Quiapo to the sports betting shops in Cebu, Filipinos have always enjoyed a flutter. But cultural familiarity with gambling can make it easier to miss the point where fun crosses into a problem. juangames takes that reality seriously. We've built the platform's responsible gaming tools not as legal checkboxes, but as features we'd want our own families to have access to.

Every registered player at juangames has access to deposit limits, session time reminders, loss limits, cooling-off periods, and voluntary self-exclusion — all available without restriction from your Account settings. These tools don't reduce the quality of your gaming experience. They protect it.

Quick Self-Assessment: Is Your Gaming Still Fun?

If you answer "yes" to two or more of these questions, it may be time to use juangames's responsible gaming tools or seek support.

1Do you find yourself spending more money on gaming than you planned?
2Do you chase losses — depositing more after a losing session to try to win it back?
3Has someone you trust expressed concern about your gambling habits?
4Do you feel anxious, irritable, or restless when you can't play?
5Have you borrowed money or sold things to fund your gaming?
6Do you hide or minimise your gaming activity from family or friends?
7Has gaming affected your work, studies, or family responsibilities?

Your juangames Responsible Gaming Toolkit

Every tool below is available inside your Account settings — free, immediate, and no questions asked.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you're willing to deposit per day, per week, or per month. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately; increases require a 7-day cooling-off period before taking effect.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum net loss you're comfortable with over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. When you hit your loss limit, you'll be prevented from placing further bets until the period resets. This stops you chasing losses before the situation gets out of hand.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration after which juangames will alert you and, if you choose, automatically end your gaming session. Time limits are one of the most effective tools against getting lost in a session without realising how long you've been playing.

Reality Checks

Set periodic in-session pop-up reminders showing how long you've been playing and your net session result. Reality checks bring you back to the present moment when it's easy to lose track of time and money during an extended gaming session.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break from gaming — 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or 30 days — without permanently closing your Account. Your Account is locked during the period. You cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. This is different from self-exclusion, which is longer-term.

Self-Exclusion

Request voluntary Account closure for a minimum of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or indefinitely. During self-exclusion, your Account is permanently locked and you may not re-register. If gambling is causing real harm, this is the right tool. See the dedicated section below.

How to access these tools: Log in to juangames → Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. All tools are available without contacting support. Changes to limits take effect as described above.

Need help using the tools? Our support team is available 7 days a week and can walk you through setting any responsible gaming control on your Account. No judgement, just help.

Choosing to Step Away — Self-Exclusion at juangames

Sometimes the most responsible thing a player can do is stop playing — not just for tonight, but for a meaningful stretch of time. Self-exclusion is the most powerful responsible gaming tool juangames offers, and it's one we make genuinely easy to activate because we believe it saves lives.

Self-exclusion at juangames closes your Account for a minimum of six months. You choose the duration — 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or indefinitely. Once activated, the Account is locked. Deposits are blocked. Bonus emails are suspended. You cannot re-register a new Account under any name or contact detail during the exclusion period. If you attempt to do so and we identify the connection, both Accounts will be permanently closed.

"Self-exclusion is not admitting defeat. It's taking control. juangames will always respect and enforce a player's decision to step away."

The only exception to a self-exclusion period is a formal review after the exclusion period has elapsed. After a minimum self-exclusion period has passed, Players may contact juangames support to request Account reactivation. Reactivation is not automatic — it requires a direct request, a 7-day reflection period, and confirmation that responsible gaming tool settings are in place before reinstatement.

juangames also respects exclusions registered with PAGCOR and encourages players who are struggling with problem gambling to engage with PAGCOR's responsible gaming programs, which operate across licensed gaming venues in the Philippines.

How to Activate Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion can be activated in minutes from your Account settings or by contacting our support team directly. No waiting period, no fees, no obstacles.

1
Log in to juangames and navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion.
2
Select your preferred exclusion duration: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or indefinite.
3
Confirm the exclusion. Your Account is locked immediately upon confirmation — no further action required.
4
Alternatively, email [email protected] with subject "Self-Exclusion Request" — we will action it within 24 hours, usually much faster.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling doesn't always look dramatic. These are the everyday warning signs that juangames watches for — and that you should know about for yourself and the people you care about.

Spending more than you budgeted for gaming
Borrowing money to gamble or cover gambling losses
Feeling restless or irritable when not playing
Hiding your gaming activity from family
Repeatedly trying to win back what you lost
Neglecting work, studies, or family due to gaming
Feeling unable to stop once you've started
Using gaming as an escape from problems or low mood

Need to talk? juangames support is available 7 days a week at [email protected]. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to local mental health and crisis support services in the Philippines. You are not alone.

21+ and Nothing Less

The minimum age to register and play at juangames is 21 years old. This aligns with PAGCOR's age requirements for land-based gaming venues in the Philippines and reflects our genuine belief that young people should not be gambling with real money — online or anywhere else.

Age verification is built into the juangames registration process. Before any withdrawal is processed, every Player is required to complete KYC identity verification, which includes submission of a valid Philippine government-issued photo ID that confirms their date of birth. Any Account found to belong to a person under 21 is immediately closed, and any remaining funds are handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a minor in your household has accessed juangames, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will act immediately to investigate and close the Account. We also encourage parents to use browser-level parental controls and to keep gaming account credentials private and secure.

Mandatory KYC Age Verification

All Philippine Players must submit a government-issued photo ID during the KYC process. No withdrawal is processed without confirmed age verification.

Immediate Account Closure for Under-21s

Any Account identified as belonging to a person under 21 is permanently closed upon discovery, with no exceptions regardless of account standing or balance status.

Advice for Parents & Guardians

Keep juangames login credentials private, enable device-level parental controls, and talk openly with young people about responsible attitudes toward gambling.

Ten Tips for Keeping Your Gaming Healthy

01
Set a Budget Before You Start

Decide how much you are comfortable spending before you open a game. Treat it like a night out — once the budget is done, the evening is over. Use juangames deposit limits to enforce this automatically.

02
Never Chase Your Losses

Chasing losses is the single most dangerous behaviour in gambling. Accept losses as part of the game's cost, not as a deficit to be recovered. Set a loss limit on juangames to make this automatic.

03
Set a Time Limit and Stick to It

Use juangames's session time limit feature to set how long each gaming session lasts. When the timer ends, log off — even if you're on a winning streak. Streaks end.

04
Only Use Money You Can Afford to Lose

Never gamble with funds earmarked for rent, food, bills, or family expenses. The golden rule of responsible gaming: if losing this money would cause real-life hardship, it shouldn't be on the table.

05
Take Regular Breaks

Get up, walk around, have some water. Extended unbroken gaming sessions distort your sense of time and money. Even a five-minute break every hour changes your perspective.

06
Don't Play Under the Influence

Alcohol and emotional distress impair judgment. Avoid gaming when you're drunk, grieving, stressed, or in a low emotional state. These are conditions where boundaries slip and spending escalates.

07
Understand the Games You Play

Every game on juangames has a published RTP. Slots are games of chance — no strategy changes the long-run outcome. Understanding this keeps your expectations realistic and your relationship with the game healthy.

08
Keep Gaming in Balance with Other Activities

Gaming should be one leisure activity among many — not the primary way you relax, socialise, or spend your time. If juangames is crowding out other parts of your life, that's worth reflecting on.

09
Be Honest with the People Around You

Secrecy is a warning sign. If you feel the need to hide your gaming from family or friends, that's the platform talking to you. Consider using the cooling-off feature or speaking with support.

10
Ask for Help When You Need It

There is no shame in reaching out. juangames support is available every day of the week. If gaming has become a problem, telling someone is the first step — and juangames will always support that decision. Humingi ng tulong kapag kailangan.

How Each Tool Works in Practice

juangames's responsible gaming tools are designed to be genuinely effective — not watered-down opt-outs that are easy to bypass. Here's how each one actually works once you activate it.

All tool changes are processed server-side, meaning they apply regardless of which device or browser you use to access juangames. You can't circumvent a deposit limit by switching phones or using a different browser.

Limit reductions are immediate. Limit increases have a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before they take effect — giving you time to reconsider before your boundaries change.

You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum deposit amount. Once reached, all further deposit attempts — via GCash, Maya, bank transfer, or any other method — are declined for the remainder of the period. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit is subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before the new higher limit activates — this prevents impulsive limit increases mid-session. Multiple period limits can be active simultaneously (e.g., ₱500/day and ₱2,000/week).

A loss limit caps the total net amount you can lose within a selected period. Net loss is calculated as total bets minus total winnings across all games. When your cumulative net loss reaches the limit, betting is disabled for the remainder of the period. This prevents the most dangerous responsible gaming behaviour — chasing losses. Loss limits can be set independently for daily, weekly, and monthly periods, and follow the same reduction-immediate / increase-delayed rule as deposit limits.

A session time limit sets the maximum duration of a single login session. When the limit is reached, you will receive an on-screen notification. If you have set a hard session limit, your session will be ended automatically after the notification period. If you have set a soft reminder, you will see the notification but can choose to continue. We recommend using the hard limit for maximum effectiveness. Session timers reset at the start of each new login session, not on a rolling basis.

A cooling-off period temporarily suspends access to your Account for a chosen duration: 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a cooling-off period, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. Your Account balance is preserved. Unlike self-exclusion, a cooling-off period ends automatically at the expiry of the period you selected — no reactivation request needed. A cooling-off period cannot be cancelled or shortened once activated. It is ideal for taking a planned break without permanently closing your Account.

Self-exclusion permanently closes your Account for a minimum of 6 months. Available durations are 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, and indefinite. Once activated, your Account is immediately locked. All marketing communications are suspended. Any attempt to open a new Account under any name, email, or payment detail during the exclusion period will result in immediate permanent closure of both Accounts. After the selected minimum period expires, reactivation requires a written request, a 7-day reflection period, and confirmation of responsible gaming tool settings. Self-exclusion is enforceable and is our strongest player protection tool.

Responsible Gaming Resources in the Philippines

juangames is one part of the responsible gaming ecosystem in the Philippines. These resources provide independent support for players who need it.

PAGCOR Responsible Gaming

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) administers a national responsible gaming program covering licensed gaming venues and online operators in the Philippines. PAGCOR provides self-exclusion registration that covers multiple gaming channels simultaneously, along with player education resources developed specifically for the Philippine context.

NCMH Crisis Hotline

The National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) operates the Philippines' national mental health crisis hotline. If gambling-related stress, anxiety, depression, or financial crisis is affecting your mental health and wellbeing, please reach out to them. Problem gambling is a recognised mental health issue and professional support is available without shame or judgement in the Philippines.

Gamblers Anonymous Philippines

Gamblers Anonymous operates peer support fellowship meetings in Metro Manila and other Philippine cities, including Cebu and Davao. GA follows a twelve-step recovery program and is staffed entirely by people in recovery from problem gambling. Many Filipino players have found GA fellowship to be a more effective and culturally resonant form of support than clinical approaches alone.

juangames does not provide external links in this document. To access PAGCOR's responsible gaming program, the NCMH crisis hotline, or Gamblers Anonymous Philippines, please search for these organisations directly using your preferred search engine. Contact details for all organisations above are publicly available. juangames support at [email protected] can also point you in the right direction if you reach out.
